My approach is keep some money aside for monthly expenses like traveling to office, miscellaneous stuff. Pay all the bills as soon as they come in. Remaining goes to SIPs in mutual funds for saving and some gold chits. Any extra expenses goes on credit – so i build the credit score as well as get some leeway to pay. Also, always pay your credit card fully. Never the min.
